Sunflower Oil, cold-pressed

Description

Origins and characteristics: This oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of the sunflower. It is a clear, light, golden yellow fluid with a mild taste. It is cultivated in East and Southeast Europe, India, Egypt, Canada and Argentina.

Usage

Usage: cold-pressed sunflower oil is an excellent and valuable food and salad oil. Due to it being sensitive to oxidation, it is rarely used in cosmetics.
