Palm Oil, refined

Description

Origins and characteristics: Peeling machines separate the fruit flesh from the stones of the ripe fruits, and the flesh is processed directly into oil. Palm trees grow in all countries in the tropical belt. Palm oil is similar to butter in consistence, varying from dark yellow to reddish yellow in colour.

Usage

Usage: As a cooking oil and in the production of margarine. Also used in cosmetics – soap production.
