Description
Origins and characteristics: The kukui tree grows on Hawaii, on the mountain sides and in the gorges. The fruit consists of a hard, green shell which, inside, has 1 or 2 hard, stoney, wrinkly nuts. The oil is obtained via cold -pressing and is subsequently carefully refined and filtered. It has a particularly high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids. The oil is light yellow to clear, the smell characteristically weak.- Usage
- Usage: Kukui Oil is well absorbed by the skin and is particularly suitable for dry skins and provides relief for irritated skin. It produces a pleasant, soft feel to the skin and can be used in lotions and creams for sensitive skin as well as in shampoos, soaps etc..
