Description

Origins and characteristics: Evening primrose oil is obtained from the seeds of the evening primrose via pressing/extraction and subsequent refining. The home of the plant is in the North West of America. Nowadays it has spread through the whole of the northern USA down to Mexico, the near and far East as well as in Europe. The oil is light yellow in colour and quite neutral in smell and taste.

Usage

Usage: the high proportion of gamma-linoleic acids(GLA) make Evening Primrose oil an outstanding oil for pharmaceutic and cosmetic industries.
