Description

Origins and characteristics: The main cultivation ares for cotton are, amongst others, America, Brazil, China, Egypt and Turkey. By extracting and refining the seeds, a light to golden yellow pure oil, with a mild taste is produced.

Usage

Usage: Cotton seed oil , along with soya, sunflower, peanut and rape, is a significant edible oil. It is used in producing margarine. Cotton seed oil is also used in high quality soaps, colours and cosmetics.
