Description
Origins and characteristics: These plants are grown mainly in India, Brazil and China. The seeds contain a fatty oil proportion of 40-55%. By pressing, an almost colourless to pale yellow oil with a very faint characteristic smell and mild taste is achieved.- Usage
- Usage: The pharmaceutic industry values the natural origin of this oil and uses it as a drug (laxative) as well as a raw material component. It is also used in making cosmetics.
