Calendula Oil (soya oil based)
Description
Origins and characteristics: Calendula oil is won from the native marigold ( calendula officinalis). It contains the fatty soluble ingredients from 100gr marigold flowers dissolved in soya oil and stabilised with tocopherol. The oil is yellowy orange, clear and has an aromatic odor. Calendula can be mixed with paraffin oil, ester and triglyceride oils but is insoluble in water.- Usage
- Usage: Calendula Ooil is used to for dry, rough and flaky skin. Care preparations with an additive of calendula oil prove helpful for dry, aged skin. In baby creams it protects the skin from nappy rash. In hand creams it heals chapped, red and splitting skin.
