Description

Origins and characteristics: Borage oil comes from the seeds of the boragine via pressing and/or extraction with subsequent refining. The oil is light yellow coloured and has a typically faint odor and taste. It originates from Europe, North America and Asia.

Usage

Usage: Borage oil is valued by the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries because of its levels of gamma-linoleic acid(GLA) and is used for example in dermatological formulas.
