Apricot Kernel Oil, refined

Description

Origins and characteristics: The apricots whose stones are used to produce the fatty apricot kernel oil, originate in the temperate and subtropical climate zones. The oil is light to middle yellow, has a characteristic smell and a mild taste. Apricot kernel oil is insoluble in water, partially soluble in ethanol and soluble in lipophilic solvent.

Usage

Usage: In cosmetics it is used for the creation of skin oils, ointments and creams. Apricot kernel oil is also well tolerated by sensitive skin.
