Shea Butter, refined

Description

Origins and characteristics: Shea butter is the fat out of the seeds of the shea tree. It is won by pressing the chosen seeds, boiling up with water, skimming off the layer of fat and subsequent gentle, product refining. It is extremely pure, very stable to oxidation, light greyish to white in colour and of solid consistence. The shea tree is grown in West Africa

Usage

Usage: Shea butter is used as a base for ointments. The product is easily integrated into many formulas eg. Lip care, hand creams, sun creams, soap, body lotions, baby-care products etc..
