Passionfruit Oil

Description

Origins and characteristics: Coming from South America (Brazil), passion fruit oil has a transparent, yellowish colour and is runny. The oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds. The smell is typical of the maracuja plant. Passion fruit oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, linoleic acid and oleic acid. It also contains Tocopherol and the phytossterole, stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol.

Usage

Usage: massage oils and sun creams. Also used as an additive in creams and soaps, it is very resistant against oxidation.
